I am so silly I forgot to mention my pride and joy...I have a two year old son now and his name is Dominic. I had him Feb. 8, 1999. He has blonde hair and brown eyes he looks a lot like Randy and me. His father of course is in Arizona and is not a part of his life but we do great without him. I am happy I have him...and I love spending every day with him he is the light of my life and the first and last thing I think of every day! I couldn't ask for anything better. Any ways we are doing well and always will.

Hello to anyone and everyone, I was in the class of 2000 but I moved to Arizona my sophmore year. Now I am back...if you don't remember me you might remember my brothers Willy and Randy. Well Willy is living in California and is engaged to a girl named Shelia she is 20 he 28...Randy and Ryan Carter are still together and living in Fort Worth, they also are doing great. I am dating TJ White and we are living together in Fort Worth and have been together for 1 year now! I miss my home out there and hope to live in springtown again, this is where my heart remains. Me and my wife are planing on relocating to Pooleville,TX where our daughter lives. Right now I am checking the web for job openings in the surrounding area. Any help would be appreciated. Hi all! I was in the class of 1990....yep the class that wore the orange cap and gowns! Has any other class dare to do the same? What memories!!!!

I lived there from 83 to 86 till our house burned down and my dad got sick. My dad was a coach there. His name coach Beasley. He passed on not long after we moved from there. I look in on Springtown every now and then. I really loved living there. I would have been with the class of 88. I live in Walden Colorado now with my husband and kids. Springtown in the 1950's was great! My Dad was Billy Wayne Newkirk who married Willie B. Minor. Dad was a preacher and also worked and got killed while working for the Texas Highway Dept in 1962 after we moved to Weatherford around 1960. They had four adoreable children named Robert, Paul, Vicki & Jackie Newkirk.
Mom is married to Harless Scoggins now and lives in Weatherford. Robert married Paula Wilson, lives in Weatherford and had two children. Paul married Pamela Sipes, lives in Weatherford and had three children. Jackie got married to twice and lives in Aledo, Texas.
I saved me for last since I'm always so complicated. Let's start with the first husband, Robert Dimock. I had my one and only child with him named Ricky who lives in Arlington. Rick has made me a grandma twice now and we are going to have another child this year. I love being a "Mawmaw".
I am married now to "Pawpaw" who was born in England and talks funny...nothing like those Springtown boys. We just bought a new house in Arlington and we're quiet comfortable. John is a writer and I have recently become a professional shopper. Just kidding! I spend lots of time doing family research since I quit my job in contract sales.
After leaving Springtown, we went to school in Weatherford and I finished up in Peaster High School in 1968. Yep, I'll be the big 5 0 this month, April 29th, 2001.
I remember a few kids I went to school with in the 50's there. Here's a few names I recall other than your present principal, Mike Gilley....Cathy Hutsell, David Nicholson, Sarah Freeman, Billy Spoon, Neel, William Vess, the Burleson girls, the Trammels, Candy Russell, teachers Mrs. Dobbs and Mrs. Sullivan, the Beards, Bradshaws, Chilcutts and many others which I cannot think of right now.

I enjoyed growing up in Springtown. I was a member of the class of '89 until the 11th grade. I lived in Bonnie Belle Estates and drove the neighborhood nuts because I played the drums. Even though I moved away from springtown before I finshed school my heart still lies there. I miss the orange and black, go pojo, friday nights kicking the crap out of any team that stepped on that feild. Coach Reed really knew what he was doing when it came to that. Checkers pizza, damn fine food I must say, not to mention the atmosphere of the town square itself. from that dinky park to the fire station it was all good. I miss that little town but, I'm sure its not so small anymore. I wish you all well and may god speed.

One of my 1970 SHS classmates just let me know about this webpage. I am so glad she did. I used to take the Springtown Epigraph when we first moved to California, but let it lapse...so now I can at least find out a little bit about what's happening at "home". Hello classmates of 1970. I've finally got all my children married off. Feels funny to be by ourselves again. Have 3 children Kaylyn 27, Mandi 26, and Trent 22.
