Hi there! Just wondering if anyone I knew was using this thing. I live in Las Colinas now, and will be getting married next year. Joseph and I have been together for 4 years, and I am happier than I have ever been. For all of you who use to know me, I am a completely different person than the girl you knew. Getting out of Springtown was the best thing that could ever happen to me. There is so much more to life than you realize when you live in such a small town. A big congratulations to our band faculty and high school band students for going to State...I just pulled up our #18 ranking and that is totally awesome! Texas is the largest continental state in the US and there are many high school bands who you have competed with...Not only is the musical talent to be commended but the hard work and commitment that the leadership, students, and band booster parents along with many others in the community offered is a lot to be grateful for ...And this band is the best I've ever seen as far as backing up their football players whether winning or losing...Guys you are all the greatest sports and true champs!! I like the town alot. I would like to see more activities

Just thought I'd post on the guestbook since it's been a long time. Everything is going great here in Springtown in our world anyway. Joe and I are still married and we still have two kids. A freshman and a 5th grader for a few more weeks anyway. For anyone that isn't sure about the UP COMING BOND ELECTION ... Please Please attend any one of the information sessions scheduled on it. We have lived here for two and a half years. We came here for piece,quiet, space and less restrictions.
I drive Springtown streets at night,on my way to work. I don't see a lot of improvements to them. I have read the paper a few times and drove around to check out what people are talking about, things not being livable or improved.Why force annexation with no improvemnts?
We live just a couple of miles out of town.We heard at the council meeting that there seems to be a money problem, no accountability. The Springtown city council has to deal with this too.
We say leave this city council as is. They at least at the last meeting, commited themselves to right the wrong. It seems to us, we should not dwell too much about the way it was done or the time it was brought to light. The fact is, it is now before us, the voting citizines of Springtown. Now is the time to fix the wronged and make the city council do it. It is time for De-anexation.

Just recently heard of Springtown Texas even though I've lived in Waxahachie for 32 years. I looked up the state of Texas map of 1988 where the population was shown to be l658.
